Today I am showcasing Rosa Parks. A simple woman who said no to giving up her seat on the bus because of the color of her skin. That simple no initiated a 382 days of boycott to public transportation by the African American community. After 382 days, the Montgomery, Alabama ordinance that allowed racial segregation in public transportation was struck down by the Supreme Court.
