Trying to catch up! I doodle pretty much all the time. Some weeks I don't doodle at all, like this one, and I look back on my doodles and find pleasant surprises. Here is one of such pleasant surprises to me. Enjoy! Maybe with a cup of coffee!

Today's design is about something I thought about this afternoon. I think I talked too much today. I am a talker but sometimes I have the need for silence and today I needed to be silent and distracted and caught up in the moment, I just kept on talking. Then I thought, wao! Once you say the words, whatever they are, they never come back. You cannot take them back, you cannot control them, they just keep on going and floating away and one day they will come back to you for good or bad. I know this sounds more dramatic than what I intended to, but I think it is something I need to remember and just be mindful of. So, enjoy!

I am trying to catch up with my daily designs. So today I just started thinking I might start to do more hand sketching of ideas or things that come to my mind. Yesterday somebody mentioned to me that we live in a semi-socialist society. I asked how come? He explained. Somehow I kept thinking about that and Google and how you can locate almost anyone in very close real time with satellite cameras, GPS, cell phones, the new apps that let your friends locate you and others. So when I sat down to sketch I thought, wow Big Brother must be watching and maybe even having some fun. Scary yet amusing thought. So, enjoy my sketch today titled Big Brother!

Well I can't seem to be able to catch up and be up to date with these! But I will not give up! Here is my daily for today. My children checked out this book at the library titled: Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot vs The Uranium Unicorns From Uranus by Dav Pilkey and illustrated by Martin Ontiveros. The book has sections to teach the kids how to draw the characters. So, when they were doing theirs, guess what? I did mine too! And here is my She-Robot! Enjoy!
