Hi all!

This photo was taken this weekend when I was hemming my pants. I was looking at the pin cushion while sewing and thought of taking a photo of it. Enjoy!

Catching up to yesterday's design I am posting a practice drawing. I used to be very good at this but I feel I have lost my flow. Thus I am practicing more often but I am afraid I will need to take classes again :-). Well, here it is. I based the drawing off this image at the Post-Gazette.com. I like how dancers move. I have always admired this ability to flex their bodies and tense them at the same time with such grace. I think I might recruit my nieces to pose for me so I can draw them! :-)

Today's design is for Tuesday April 20th. There will be 3 photos I took from the car with my iPhone while driving to Iowa last weekend. So, these overdue dailies are going to be those photos. It is not that they are great or anything. Rather it was being able to feel a sense of expansion again while driving and it felt great! I am more of an ocean person, but the greens and the trees were so beautiful! Unfortunately I did not trust the iPhone enough to take more photos but I think that from now on, I might get my iPhone out and start shooting. Enjoy!

Wao! I made it to the 100th design!!! And to celebrate such occasion I decided to do a design based on something my son Aramis said to me today. We were talking about remembering things so we can talk about them later on. He looks at me puzzled and says “but what if it doesn't stay in my brain?” I started laughing and after wondering what to do for today, I thought, why not? I will do his phrase. He is delighted with the design and was giving me instructions. The handwriting is his and the photograph was taken a few months ago. He likes to wear his goggles around the house with his tools on his pockets. Enjoy!

Today's daily is an Easter bunny cake requested by my children. The bow is a little crooked but bear in mind I'm not baker :-) Enjoy!
